“Thanks to this acquisition, Netmarble will strengthen its line of casual games, which mainly includes RPG projects. With the help of a diversified portfolio, we hope to strengthen our competitive advantages in the global mobile games market,” said Seungwon Lee, CEO of Netmarble.
SpinX Games was founded in 2014. She has six games on her account, and they are all slots: Cash Frenzy, Lotsa Slots, Jackpot World, Vegas Friends, Jackpot Crush and Cash Bash.
As for Netmarble, it opened in 2000 and is now considered the largest mobile publisher in South Korea. Last year, Netmarble’s revenue reached $2.25 billion — 14% more than in 2019.
Note that in early June, the Korean company published one of the fastest-earning mobile games in the world, Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds. This MMORPG collected its first $100 million in 11 days from the moment of release.
