Rollic Games bought the Turkish studio Uncosoft, which developed High Heels!
Hyper-casual publisher Rollic Games, part of Zynga, has announced a new purchase. The Turkish studio Uncosoft — the authors of the famous TikTok “runner in heels” High Heels! – passed into his hands.
This is reported by the TechCrunch portal. The size and terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Note that previously Uncosoft and Rollic have worked together more than once: Rollic has published several studio titles, including her hit High Heels!. In part, close cooperation was the reason for the takeover, said the head of the publishing house Burak Vardal (Burak Vardal).
Rollic’s decision was also influenced by the success of the High Heels game!
The title was released at the end of January 2021 and during this time became the “star” of TikTok, collecting millions of views. Also, according to App Magic, the total downloads of the game reached 75 million.
High Heels! — a variation of the runner, where the user overcomes an obstacle course in heels. The player picks up the latter as he moves along the track. The more he picked up, the higher he is. When overcoming obstacles, the heels are “cut off”.
One of the game’s features is the variety of characters. High Heels! even received approval from the queer community.
The head of Rollic hopes that he will be able to adopt the “TikTok experience” of High Heels! and use it in the development and promotion of other hyper-casual games.
