As a result of the deal, 505 Games gets full control over the Ghostrunner franchise, as well as all licenses for technical solutions that were used in the game.

At the same time, All In Games will continue to receive a percentage of sales of the Ghostrunner released in 2020. But it is unclear which one.

We launched the game last fall 505 Games and All In Games together. However, initially all rights were on the side of the Poles. Now everything is changing.

According to Piotr Žygadło, CEO of All In Games, the Italians initially wanted to acquire a franchise for their portfolio. But before the release and the start of sales, the parties could not agree on the price in any way. After the success of the game, the companies came to a common denominator.

Recall that the development of Ghostrunner cost Ghostrunner € 2.5 million. The game paid off on the first day of sales and sold 500 thousand copies by the end of 2020. All In Games expects that the game will reach the mark of one million copies sold later this year.

All In Games plans to spend the raised funds on the growth and development of its own company.

Poles have plans to release two dozen titles in 2021.

One More Level and 3D Realms were directly involved in the development of Ghostrunner itself. Apparently, they had no rights to the brand and received nothing from the deal.

Ghostrunner is a first-person action game in a cyberpunk setting. The player controls a revolutionary ninja fighting a tyrant conducting mass repression. The game was released in the wake of the Cyberpunk 2077 PR campaign. Given the overall visual style of the games, this can explain the commercial success of the title. At the same time, the game was warmly welcomed by the audience. She has high ratings on Steam (91%).

Why 505 Games has full rights to Ghostrunner is unclear. But this is not the first significant acquisition for the company in a year. In January, she acquired Infinity Plus Two, best known for the Warlords, Warlords Battlecry and Puzzle Quest franchises, for an unknown amount.
