Tencent acquired a "controlling stake" in the Swedish studio 10 Chambers
The Chinese colossus Tencent has invested in another Western company. This time we are talking about 10 Chambers — the authors of the first-person shooter GTFO.
According to 10 Chambers, cooperation with Tencent will help the company to implement long-term plans. The Chinese giant will not only provide additional financial resources and creative freedom, but also support the work with the GTFO community.

The terms and amount of the agreement remain unknown, but the Swedes have already managed to call the sold share “control”.

10 Chambers was founded in 2015 by veterans of Swedish Starbreeze and Overkill, who worked on the Payday shooter at one time: The Heist and Payday 2 robbery simulator. The greatest fame of 10 Chambers was brought by the first-person shooter GTFO, which launched in December last year.
