As part of the deal, Sumo Digital got the Lab42 staff of 29 employees, who are currently engaged in six projects, and the rights to the World Shooker Tour brand.

The purchase price is not called.

Under the terms of the deal, Lab42 will retain its name, independence and current management. The company is located in the British city of Royal Leamington Spa, where one of the mobile studios Sumo Digital has been operating since last year.

There are a dozen small studios in the portfolio of Sumo Digital. Before Lab42, she bought, for example, the outsourcer Red Kite Games, writes Gamesindustry.biz .

Sumo Digital itself, which created Crackdown 3 and LittleBigPlanet 3, is the flagship studio of Sumo Group. The latter owns nine more companies in three countries around the world. 10% of the group belongs to Tencent.
