And again about investing in Finns. Developer Dazzle Rocks has raised $6.8 million to create an MMO sandbox. The studio was founded by people from Rovio.
Dazzle Rocks has closed the investment round of series “A”. Its leader was the venture fund of Galaxy Interactive. Some of the funds were also invested by Spintop Ventures.
The studio will spend the raised funds on the production of its debut game. It will be a social title with an emphasis on building, exploring the world and interaction between players. Soon Dazzle Rocks promises to launch an open beta of the game in the West.
In the future, the developer also plans to create social MMOs on a custom engine.
Dazzle Rocks was founded in 2015. Both of its co—founders — Stella Wang and Joonas Jokela – previously worked at Rovio.
