The newly founded company Supernova Capital LLP has made its first acquisition.
She closed the deal to buy Flying Wild Hog, a Polish independent studio with 180 employees.
According to Gameindustry.biz, the companies managed to work together even before the merger, but it is not known what exactly. Over time, Supernova promises to increase the productivity and profitability of the acquired studio.

Also, as follows from the words of the Flying Wild Hog management, the deal with Supernova should not affect the culture that has developed in the studio.
Supernova Capital is the company of Paul Wedgwood, former CEO and founder of Splash Damage. In 2017, the latter was sold to the Chinese group of companies Leyou Technologies for $ 160 million. A year later Wedgwood founded Supernova.
Flying Wild Hog is best known for its relaunch of the Shadow Warrior shooter developed by 3D Realms in the 90s. Recently, the Polish studio opened its third office. In the near future, she intends to present several new projects.
