Lightheart Entertainment raised $1.4 million for the global release of indie action

Finnish developers are able to attract external financing. Another proof is the history of the Helsinki Lightheart Entertainment. The young team raised $1.4 million in the seed round.

The peculiarity of the deal is that Lightheart Entertainment was looking for money not for development, but for marketing a game already released in the App Store and Google Play, the multiplayer platformer Mr Autofire. She needed funds for a worldwide release. Now she has them.

Galaxy Interactive, which has become more active in the gaming M&A market in the last six months, acted as an investor. Recall that in March, the company invested the same $ 1.4 million in the Californian developer Big Run Studios, specializing in casual projects in the spirit of the klondike. Prior to that, in February, the investor announced a $3.3 million tranche to an American esports organizationTempo Storm.
