The Ukrainian outsourcing studio Kevuru Games dismissed employees from Russia and Belarus
Based in Ukraine, the studio Kevuru Games, specializing in game outsourcing, refused to cooperate with clients from Russia. She also dismissed employees without paying salaries who, according to the company, “supported Russia or expressed a neutral position” in relation to the events taking place.
This became known from the company’s post on the official Facebook page. It states that:
- the company completely suspends any business cooperation with Russia and encourages others to do so;
- the studio is no longer going to respond to service requests and refuses any interaction with clients from Russia;
- all employees loyal to Russia or expressing a neutral position will be automatically dismissed without payments (the studio will direct this money to finance the armed forces of Ukraine).
The company also attached to the announcement a picture in which Russian customers are sent in three letters.
The studio does not specify how many employees were laid off. According to our data, we are talking about at least two dozen people from Russia and Belarus.
Kevuru Games is based in Kiev. The studio recently turned 10 years old. She is engaged in creating custom-made game art. Her portfolio includes work for Fortnite and Monster Legends.
