John Carmack called the closest competitor to Oculus Quest — Nintendo Switch
This week Oculus announced an autonomous VR gadget – Oculus Quest. After the announcement, the startup’s technical director John Carmac said that the closest competitor to the new device is the Nintendo Switch. The situation where people will choose between PS4 and Oculus, he considers not very real. They are more likely to choose some device in addition to a large console. And this is where the struggle can unfold.

Ubisoft, Fig and a number of other companies have organized the Blockchain Gaming Alliance
Nine companies of various profiles, including the game publisher Ubisoft and the crowdfunding platform Fig, have formed a coalition. The purpose of the latter is to create a platform for discussing the integration of blockchain into games, as well as support for a universal gaming blockchain standard that would make it possible to create a more transparent ecosystem on the market.
