The growth of game sales by 175% and 6 million copies of Metro Exodus is the main thing from the Embracer Group quarterly report
Embracer Group reported on the results of the third fiscal quarter of 2021 (ended December 31). During this period, the Swedish holding increased revenue by 135% at once, and gaming sales by 175%. He also reported on the success of Metro Exodus and a number of his other games.

- Embracer Group continues to invest more and more money in game development. In the third quarter, it spent a record 925.4 million Swedish kronor ($99 million) on this. Recall that in the second quarter, the holding also talked about record investments, but then they amounted to 881 million Swedish kronor ($91.2 million).
- A total of 216 games are currently in development — 44% more than a year ago. Of these, “over 25” are AAA projects, the release of which is scheduled until March 2026.
- The number of employees in Embracer Group increased by 66% to 9524 people. Of these, 7824 people are engaged in game development.
- Embracer Group noted that against the background of deals between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard, Sony and Bungie, Take Two and Zynga, it began to receive offers of cooperation more often. However, the holding treats them selectively. He is ready to conclude deals only with companies that “build long-term plans, have strong ambitions and feel at home.”
- Embracer Group also announced that it is going to list on the Nasdaq Stockholm stock exchange by the end of 2022.

- Sales of Deep Rock Galactic exceeded 9 million copies. The holding also reported successful sales of additions to the title, but did not share figures.
