In July-September 2019, CD Projekt's revenue grew, but its profit fell
Polish CD Projekt has shared the results of the third financial quarter. In three months, she earned $23.9 million — more than predicted.

- Revenue — $23.9 million. This is 38% more than in July — September 2018. According to early forecasts, this time CD Projekt was supposed to earn $4 million less.
- Profit — $3.8 million. It has decreased in contrast to income. In the third quarter of last year, the profit was $4 million.
- The high revenue is due to sales in the GOG store, deliveries of Cyberpunk 2077 collector’s editions to distributors, and pre-orders of The Witcher 3 on Switch.
- The drop in profits is attributed to record spending on game development. For the quarter, they amounted to $11 million. The main part of them fell on Cyberpunk 2077.
CD Projekt Red Studio results (for the quarter)
- Revenue — $16.3 million (compared to $10.5 million for the third quarter of 2018).
- Profit — $4.3 million (against $4.1 million).
- The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt continues to sell well. At the same time, the game was released almost five years ago.
- The launch of the iOS version of Gwint also contributed to revenue growth. Now 68% of Gwint’s revenue comes from Apple owners. Recall that the game was released including on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

- Revenue — $8.1 million (compared to $7.2 million in the same period last year).
