GreedFall
The main driver of growth was the role—playing game GreedFall, released in early September on three “big” platforms – PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
The results of the game developed by Spiders studio exceeded the publisher’s expectations.
Focus Home Interactive also shared the results for the first financial half of the year (it began for the company in April of the calendar year). During the reporting period, the publisher earned €79.8 million. This is 80% more than a year earlier.
In addition to the GreedFall already mentioned above, high sales of World War Z and A Plague: Innocence contributed to this growth. Both were released this spring.
Speaking about the first fiscal quarter of this year, Focus Home Interactive notes stable sales of its previously released games: Farming Simulator, Vampyr, Insurgency: Sandstrom, the Surge and MudRunner.
