Indian billionaire bought shares of the game studio Nazara Technologies for $ 27.9 million

Indian businessman Rakesh Jhunjhunwala has acquired a minority stake in mobile game developer Nazara Technologies for $27.9 million.

Jhunjhunwal ranks 54th in the list of the richest people in India. His fortune is estimated at $3.1 billion.

“I am always looking for an opportunity to invest in promising companies that are leading in their industry. Nazara is a leading mobile game developer in India, and I see potential for growth,” Rakesh Junjunwal commented on his decision.

In September of this year, Nazara Technologies announced its intention to hold an IPO at the end of the fiscal year (it will end in March 2018). The market value of the company is tentatively estimated at $550 million.
