Mobile football and role-playing action helped Nexon earn $532 million in the quarter
The revenues of Nexon gaming corporation in the 3rd quarter of 2017 increased by 36% to $532 million, of which mobile games earned $120 million – 39% more than a year ago.
The main sources of mobile income were the sports simulator FIFA Online 3 M and the role-playing action Dark Avenger 3.
Nexon’s profit in the last quarter increased by an impressive 157%, reaching $173 million.
In the next quarter, Nexon plans to launch 9 new games, including a mobile version of the Dungeon&Fighter anime brawler for China and the release of the mobile game OVERHIT based on the Heroes of Incredible Tales role-playing franchise in South Korea.
