Mobile football helped increase Konami's gaming profit by 38%
The global release of the mobile version of the football simulator Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 contributed to the growth of Konami’s gaming revenue in the first quarter of this year by 37.8%.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 and a number of other titles brought Konami about $26 million in profit in three months.
Along with revenue, video game sales also increased by 33.5%. They amounted to $65.8 million.
Mobile Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 was released on iOS and Android in May of this year in 150 countries around the world and became the first game in the series ported to mobile platforms.
