Coda invested $4 million in the hyper-casual game development platform
Mobile startup Coda has raised $4 million to create a hyper-casual games platform. The investor was London Venture Partners.
$4 million will be spent on team development, attracting new partners and developing new features for the platform. This was announced by Coda following the results of the seed round of financing.
Note: London Venture Partners is actively investing in game development. She invested in Unity, the owner of two development services without AppOnboard code, the game publisher Bossa Studios and the Finnish studio Futureplay. Now a large investor is interested in hyper-casual. And, as Gamesindustry notes.biz, one of its general partners will join the board of directors of Coda.

The platform is designed for indie developers. As the startup’s management stated, “Coda’s mission is to allow players around the world to make a living doing what they love: developing games.”
Coda contains tools for creating and maintaining a fritupley hyperkejual. Such tools include the Unity module for optimizing in—game advertising and analytical software. According to the authors of the project, the platform will provide developers, including UA services and monetization opportunities.
London Venture Partners is confident that the service allows developers to “bring ideas to life and connect with players.” By now, the authors of Rope Rescue!, Color Combo and Pipeline 3D have already used the services of Coda. Their total installations exceeded 30 million.
The Coda startup was founded last year by the AdColony team. Its headquarters are located in London, but there are also two offices in Turkey.
