Unity criticized for supporting the gambling industry
The creators of Unity were accused of being unethical. The company has updated its engine to version 2019.1, focusing on those changes that are “especially useful for developers in the gambling industry.”

Some Twitter users called on Unity to abandon the license for the engine altogether. Others cited the example of Epic Games, which banned gambling creators from using its Unreal Engine.
The Gamesindustry publication requested a comment from Unity about the situation.biz, but the company has not yet responded.
