The development of a 16-year-old designer has become the game of the day in the App Store
Abstract arcade game Torus, which was made by 16-year-old Brandon Kynoch from Johannesburg alone, was chosen as the game of the day in the App Store. During the day, the game was downloaded a hundred thousand times.
Torus is a free–to-play game with an endless gradually increasing gameplay, with a small amount of video advertising and one in-game purchase that accelerates the player’s rebirth after the gamer.

Brandon Kainok is self-taught, he began studying programming at the age of 13 with the help of free Internet resources.
Torus became Brandon’s second finished game – he abandoned many of his projects halfway through, bored, and moved on to the next ones. His first completed game, the arcade shooter Blast: A Tank Game, is also available on the App Store.
After graduating from school, the young man is going to go to the USA and study computer science. In the States, he hopes to continue his career in game development and establish a full-fledged studio there.
