The creators of RPG Maker MV will release a toolkit in the West to create sprite fighters
The companies Playism and Kadokawa Corporation will release the Pixel Game Maker MV toolkit on the Western market. It is designed to create two-dimensional games with sprite graphics. Working with the program does not require programming skills and other special knowledge.
In Pixel Game Maker MV, you can develop arcade platformers, metrodomes, simulators of pinball machines and titles of other genres. Included with the tool are asset sets with animations, backgrounds, sound sets and other resources.
The toolkit allows you to create multiplayer modes for cooperative and competitive games for 4 players.
Pixel Game Maker MV will be released on Steam Early Access this summer.
The creators note that Pixel Game Maker MV has become the first tool in the Maker line that supports the physics of game objects.
Kadokawa Corporation is known as the creator of the RPG Maker series of programs, whose products are designed to develop games in the JRPG genre.
