Tencent and TikTok will speak at a meeting about the Chinese game market Journey to the East in St. Petersburg
On June 18, a chamber event dedicated to the gaming market of the Celestial Empire will take place in the city on the Neva. We are talking about Journey to the East, where representatives of mobile companies will share insights about working in the Chinese market.
Now the participation of speakers from five companies has been announced:
- Youmi with the report “How to bridge the gap on the way to the Chinese market?”;
- Tencent with the report “Buying users in China, Tencent solutions for applications”;
- TikTok with the report “Chinese gaming: the era of organic traffic has already arrived”;
- Appsflyer with the report “The current situation of mobile marketing in China”;
- Playkot with the report “Problems and successes in buying traffic for Age of Magic in China”.
The format of the event is as follows: after registration and an introductory speech, each speaker gives a lecture for 20 minutes. Then the after-party starts, where the guests of the event will be able to ask questions to the speakers.

Journey to the East is one of at least three industrial events in St. Petersburg, timed to coincide with the summer session of White Nights, whose official opening will take place on June 19.
