Sensor Tower: European users spent $9.6 billion on mobile games in 2020
Last year, the revenue of the European mobile games market grew by almost a third and amounted to $ 9.6 billion, according to Sensor Tower. Google Play and App Store Data
Unlike the rest of the world, in Europe, most of the revenue came from games from Google Play — $5.4 billion (an increase of 28.6% year-on-year).
- Android users spent the most on games in Germany — $1.3 billion (64.2% of the total revenue of mobile games in the country)
- App Store users generated $4.2 billion (an increase of 27.3% compared to last year).

The highest-grossing mobile game in Europe was Coin Master with revenue of $398.2 million.
- The top three also included Brawl Stars ($259 million) and PUBG Mobile (253.5 million).
- The fastest growing game was State of Survival, whose revenue grew 23 times year-on-year and amounted to $165 million.
- One of the main hits of last year Among Us topped the downloads chart, generating 64.7 million installs per year (50 times more than in 2019).
