Suicide Squad drops 53 places on Steam charts, while Helldivers 2 dethrones Palworld as top-grossing game

Another week, another dive into Steam’s global top sellers. And after Palworld’s three-week reign, it looks like we finally have a new king.

Helldivers 2 was the highest-grossing game on Steam for the week of February 6-13, surpassing free-to-play hits like Counter-Strike 2 and PUBG in gross revenue. The previous leader, Palworld, has now dropped to 4th place overall.

Interestingly, Helldivers 2’s upgrade to the Super Citizen edition, which includes additional gear and a premium battle pass, ranked 13th overall on the chart.

There were many other notable changes among Steam’s weekly global top sellers. Sega’s two successful new releases of 2024, Persona 3 Reload and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, dropped 22 and 26 places, landing at #25 and #52. However, older titles in both series, Persona 5 Royal and Yakuza: Like a Dragon, reappeared in the top 100 at #28 and #51 — thanks to huge discounts.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League experienced a massive decline in gross revenue on Steam. The game ranked 63rd on the chart, down 53 positions from the previous week.

At the same time, discounts helped some AAA hits return to the top 20. Red Dead Redemption 2 jumped 55 positions to #12 overall, while Cyberpunk 2077 ranked 15th (up 20 spots compared to the previous week).

Below are the top 10 premium games by gross revenue for the week of February 6-13 (excluding F2P titles, Steam Deck, and DLCs/ugprades):

Over the weekend, it also peaked at 360k concurrent players on PS5 and PC, with its player count on Steam rapidly approaching 200k CCU.
