Facebook Media Buyer
About the Company
An international fintech project in the Trading / Crypto / Forex space, actively scaling performance marketing across global markets. The company is developing its UA function across Tier-1, LATAM, MENA, and SEA regions, and is looking for a strong Facebook (Meta) Media Buyer to take ownership of strategy and hands-on management of paid traffic in Meta Ads.
About the Role
The Facebook Media Buyer is responsible for the full cycle of advertising campaigns within the Meta ecosystem (Facebook, Instagram, Audience Network, Messenger) — from strategy and media planning to launch, optimization, and scaling.
The main goal is to drive ROAS and LTV growth while maintaining controlled CPA / FTD at scale, operating large budgets in a highly regulated fintech environment.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Management
- Building media plans and account structure (BM → Ad Account → Campaign → Ad Set → Ad)
- Launching and managing campaigns in Meta Ads Manager: Sales / Leads / Advantage+ App campaigns
- Budget pacing, frequency control, CPM, win-rate, and delivery management
- Vertical and horizontal scaling of profitable setups (CBO / ABO, manual and automated scaling)
- Experience with Ad management tools
Audience & Targeting
- Audience segmentation: interest, behavior, custom audiences, lookalikes, broad
- Building and maintaining source audiences using CRM / Pixel / CAPI events
- Testing audience hypotheses with a focus on FTD quality and LTV
Creative Strategy
- Briefing and managing creative production for Meta formats (static, video, stories, reels, carousel)
- Continuous testing of hooks, copy, advertorial approaches, and landing pages
- Iterating winning creatives and maintaining a strong pipeline of fresh assets
Tracking & Analytics
- Setup and control of Meta Pixel / Conversions API / Aggregated Event Measurement
- Working with tracking and MMP tools: GA4, Looker Studio, AppsFlyer / Adjust, Keitaro
- Reporting on cohort metrics: CPL → CPA → FTD → ROAS → LTV
- Data-driven optimization: hypothesis building, A/B testing, insights, and action plans
Account Infrastructure & Compliance
- Working with agency/farm accounts, BM structures, proxies, and anti-detect browsers
- Anti-ban strategies and awareness of white-page / cloaking approaches and moderation processes
- Understanding Meta restrictions in fintech / crypto verticals
- Fraud monitoring and traffic quality control, working with MMP fraud modules
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Close cooperation with creative, product, analytics, and CRM teams
- Regular reporting to Head of UA and KPI / media plan ownership
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Facebook / Meta Media Buyer in performance-driven projects
- Proven track record in Fintech / Trading / Crypto / Forex (or adjacent verticals such as iGaming, Nutra, Dating with high CPA models)
- Experience managing budgets of $50K+ per month and scaling profitable campaigns
- Strong knowledge of Meta Business Manager, Ads Manager, Events Manager, Pixel, CAPI
- Experience with agency/farm accounts, BM infrastructure, anti-detect tools
- Strong understanding of performance metrics and unit economics (CAC, LTV, payback)
- Experience optimizing for FTD / CPA / ROAS beyond top-funnel metrics (CPC / CTR)
- Understanding of Web2App funnels, attribution models, and postback logic
- Strong A/B testing skills for creatives, landing pages, audiences, and offers
- Experience with tracking tools: AppsFlyer / Adjust / Keitaro and analytics platforms (GA4, Looker Studio)
- Languages: UA / RU — fluent; EN — working level (briefs, communication with support and agencies)
Would Be a Plus
- Experience scaling campaigns in LATAM / Tier-1 / MENA / SEA
- Experience launching app campaigns (AAA / Advantage+ App) in fintech
- Meta certifications (Certified Media Buying Professional / Digital Marketing Associate)
- Experience building funnels with pre-landing / quiz funnels / advertorials
- Experience with BI tools: Metabase / Power BI / Tableau
- Experience working with in-house creative studios and production teams
- Strong understanding of direct-response copywriting and high-converting hooks psychology
- Experience working with agencies and arbitration teams
