"Igromir" will take on publishing games
The "Igromir" brand continues to expand. A month and a half ago, a cloud gaming service of the same name was launched under it. Now, a gaming publishing division has also emerged.

As reported by Yandex, the gaming division of its production center, "Plus Studios," has come under the "Igromir" umbrella. According to the company, "Igromir" will publish at least the games to which this center has previously committed. Among them are "War of the Worlds: Siberia" and "Cyberslav: Eclipse." Both titles are scheduled for release in 2027.
In a comment to the Vedomosti newspaper, representatives of "Igromir" added that they do not rule out the future release of games under a license, although a final decision has not been made.
The cost of launching the publishing division under the "Igromir" brand for Yandex is unknown. However, experts interviewed by Vedomosti suggest that, for now at least, the company's investments in game publishing will be experimental. This will allow them to test the waters and assess feasibility.
Additionally, it has become known that "Igromir" plans to launch its own gaming media outlet. The media is expected to launch by the end of the year and will target a wide audience.
Remember, Yandex acquired the trademarks "Igromir" and Comic Con Russia in February 2025 for 41.2 million rubles. They acquired the trademarks at an auction where they were listed as part of the company's bankruptcy proceedings, "KRI."
