HUMANKIND became the leader in the weekly Steam bestseller chart. There are two places behind it at once
The new leader in the Steam bestseller list last week was HUMANKIND, a turn—based 4X strategy game from Amplitude Studios. Thanks to various publications, she captured the first and third lines at once. The indie thriller about the time loop Twelve Minutes also got to the top, but it got only the eighth place.
HUMANKIND
Twelve Minutes was released on Thursday, August 19. Critics received the game quite warmly — its average score on Metacritic was 79 out of 100. In addition, the title praised Hideo Kojima, who liked the design and cast of Twelve Minutes
But gamers were not so happy with the title. Although users noted the strong plot of Twelve Minutes, they also added that at the end the game starts to get boring.
Naraka: Bladepoint, which last time topped the Steam bestseller chart, has now taken second and tenth place. Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 also lost its position, dropping from the third line to the seventh.
But the deluxe edition of DOOM Eternal rose in the chart from the eighth to the fifth line. The ongoing discounts on Steam helped him in this.
Thanks to discounts, the rating also includes Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition and a set of crowns for The Elder Scrolls Online. They are in ninth and sixth place, respectively.
