Another 20 countries will get access to games from the App Store
The App Store will appear in 20 more countries. Eight of them are located in Africa, including Libya, Morocco and Congo. The store will also be launched in Afghanistan, Iraq and the Maldives. As a result, it will cover 175 states.
According to Reuters, the Apple company will begin the largest expansion into new markets in the last eight years. Country coverage will increase not only for the App Store, but also for other Apple services (for example, Apple Music streaming). The terms of the expansion are not called.
The publication also noted that by the end of the year, Apple plans to increase the total subscriber base in its services to 600 million.
