Valve has released a mobile Steam Chat for communicating with friends from Steam
A free app from Valve has been released in the App Store and Google Play. It is called Steam Chat and, of course, has a link to Steam.
Key chat functions from the desktop version of the Steam store have been transferred to the application. So, it allows you to communicate in private and group chats, where videos, gifs, emoticons, embedded messages from Twitter, etc. are supported.
You can also use Steam Chat to add new friends and monitor their activity in the store. The app shows which friends are currently in the game, and also sends invitations to the game to the smartphone in the form of notifications.
In the near future, a voice chat will also appear in Steam Chat.
You can download the iOS version of the app here, and the Android version here.
