Bally's Intralot has agreed to purchase Evoke
The gambling company Bally's Intralot has agreed to purchase Evoke — the owner of the William Hill and 888 brands. The deal is valued at £243.1 million.
Under the terms of the deal, Evoke shareholders will receive 0.537 shares of Bally's Intralot for each of their shares. They also have the option to choose cash instead of shares, but the amount of cash is limited.
The acquisition followed a strategic review initiated by Evoke in December 2025 to explore options for increasing its market value. The board of directors of Evoke unanimously approved the agreement. The closure is expected at the end of 2026 or early 2027 following shareholder and regulatory approvals.
Once the purchase is completed, the company will operate in six key geographic markets with a total potential of €36 billion. The combined group is expected to become the second-largest player in the UK iGaming segment and the fourth-largest online sports betting operator in the country.
