Hades 2 will be leaving early access on September 25, 2025

Hades 2 by Supergiant Games is scheduled to exit early access on September 25, 2025, debuting as an exclusive limited-time release for Nintendo Switch and its upcoming successor, the Switch 2.
The announcement was made during the Nintendo Direct event held last week. The game will also be released in a physical edition on November 20, compatible with both the original Switch models and the Switch 2, priced at $50.
Players opting for the digital version on Switch and PC can purchase it for $30, which includes a complimentary upgrade pack.
Supergiant Games has announced that Hades 2 will support cross-saves across Switch, Switch 2, as well as on Steam and the Epic Game Store.
Those who participated in early access will be able to transfer their saved progress from PC to Switch using an in-game feature.
"Hades 2 marks our first sequel ever, and it's a project we've dedicated over four and a half years to," the developers shared.
The game has been under early access development since May 2024, allowing feedback from the player community to help shape its development. "The end result is our most extensive game yet, one we hope lives up to the legacy of its predecessor."
Regarding the availability of Hades 2 on PlayStation and Xbox platforms, given the original game's history, which saw a console release 11 months after arriving on the Switch, August 2026 could be a potential launch period if a similar pattern is followed.
