PUBG: New State gained 5 million pre-registrations in a week
Despite the fact that the release of the futuristic sequel PUBG Mobile has not yet taken place, the game has already attracted the attention of millions of gamers. In just a week since the announcement, 5 million people have pre-registered in PUBG: New State. And this is only on Google Play.
The developers from PUBG Studio announced their new project at the end of February. They did not name a specific launch date for PUBG: New State, but noted that the game will be released during this year on iOS and Android.
At the same time as the announcement, pre-registration in Google Play was opened. According to the PocketGamer portal, the large number of applications already collected in this store can be partially explained by bonuses for players. Everyone who has pre-registered in PUBG: New State should receive an exclusive skin and access to up-to-date information about the title.
Pre-registration in the App Store will open later.
Recall that at one time PUBG Mobile, the predecessor of PUBG: New State, started quite loudly. The project was released in March 2018 and by May had become the most downloaded game in the first half of the year. By mid-2020, title downloads totaled 734 million.
