The co-founder and former president of Blizzard has launched a new gaming company Dreamhaven
Mike Morhaime, who ran Blizzard for 27 years, founded a new company, Dreamhaven. It will include two subsidiary studios — Secret Door and Moonshot.Dreamhaven will be the publisher of their projects.
She will also finance the development. The studios will be headed by Blizzard veterans, with whom Morheim has worked for many years.
Secret Door will be managed by former Hearthstone executive producer Chris Sigaty, former Hearthstone game director Eric Dodds and former Blizzard Technical Director and art director Alan Dabiri.
The Moonshot team will include former Blizzard executive producer Jason Chayes, former StarCraft 2 and Heroes of the Storm game director Dustin Browder and former Hearthstone creative director Ben Thompson.

However, in future games of the company, Morheim intends to focus on quality and not limit developers. “I have always believed that games can unite people regardless of their origin and existing borders,“ he said.
Morheim is one of the co-founders of Blizzard and worked at the company for 27 years until he left the post of president in 2018. The developer will be helped to manage Dreamhaven by his wife Amy Morhaime, who will deal with operational issues.
