Epic Games urges not to believe SuperData data on Fortnite earnings

With this statement, the authors of the battle royale addressed to Gamesindustry.biz . They claim that the company’s analysts use “questionable methodology.” The Fortnite developer does not publish its own revenue data.
“SuperData does not and has not had access to Epic Games earnings data from Fortnite,” the statement said. — Its reports do not display Fortnite indicators exactly. We are disappointed that SuperData has repeatedly published extremely incorrect data on Fortnite, based on a dubious, in our opinion, methodology.”
At the same time, Epic Games refused to provide data that could refute the analysts’ information. She also did not indicate specific reports with distorted figures. But, we note, just last week, the company’s specialists in a new report said that the revenue of the “royal battle” reached its minimum since November 2017.
SuperData itself, in a comment to the media, declared a proven and reliable methodology. Its representatives did not admit that the data on Fortnite may be inaccurate.
