Apple has introduced its own universal authentication system

In pursuit of security, Apple showed its solution at WWDC 2019, which will allow you to register in applications and services in one click.

In recent years, ordinary users, like players, have become accustomed to the fact that they can register and then use one or another service in one click.

Today, as a rule, it is enough to click on the Sign in with Facebook or Sign in with Google button. The problem with this type of authentication is that thanks to this, services and games receive various information about the user, for example, email address, gender, age, something else.

Apple has introduced its own authentication standard — Sign in with Apple, which assumes that when using it, third-party services will be given a minimum of information about the user (eventually, the latter will even be able to choose which email box to leave and whether to leave at all).

The new system will be available both in applications and on the web. Apparently, Sign in with Apple will become another standard in terms of registration.

Another thing is that for developers such a service, if it, of course, becomes widespread, will complicate the work with analytics, because if Sign in with Apple gives only a minimum of information about users and players, the accuracy of the analysis will fall.

How exactly Apple plans to make money on the service is not specified.
