The new Take-Two label will publish games by Fallout, Halo and Assassin's Creed authors
The team of publishing labels of Take-Two Corporation has been replenished with a new name. Private Division, a brand specializing in ambitious indie projects, joined Rockstar Games and 2K. Among his first clients are Obsidian Entertainment and a number of famous game designers.
Among them are the co-creator of the Halo series Marcus Leto (Marcus Lehto), the creator of the Assassin’s Creed franchise Patrice Désilets (Patrice Désilets) and others.
Private Division intends to sponsor and publish games of independent teams that approach the quality of performance to AAA titles.
An example of such projects is the action adventure Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice by Ninja Theory studio, which proved to be commercially successful and won several awards at The Game Awards 2017.
The first games of the label will be the adventure action game Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey by Panache Digital Games studio Patrice Desile and The Viking horror Project Wight by The Outsiders studio David Goldfarb and Ben Cousins, who previously worked at EA DICE.
In addition, Private Division will release a role-playing project by Tim Cane and Leonard Boyarsky from Obsidian Entertainment, the debut game of Markus Leto’s V1 Interactive studio, as well as the Kerbal Space Program, the creators of which Take-Two bought this year.
