It’s too early to bury singles. That’s what SuperData thinks. According to her, in October, the digital versions of Assassin’s Creed: Origins, Middle Earth: Shadow of War and South Park: The Fractured but Whole for three earned $160 million.

Despite such good indicators, SuperData analysts do not believe in the long-term success of these titles. There is a niche in the market for such single titles, they can sell well, but not for as long as fritupley projects.

The entire digital retail market earned $8.5 billion in October. A year ago, the figure was $1.1 billion less. The main drivers of growth: the premium segment of PC games and mobile.

The first one jumped by 28% compared to last year thanks to the release of Destiny 2 and the ongoing crusade of PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS, which gained another 5 million installations in October.

The second increased by 19%, where it feels at ease today Honour of Kings.
