Fallout Shelter Developer closes office in Santiago

The Canadian company Behavior Interactive liquidated the Chilean branch and laid off about 30 employees. Behavior Interactive is known as the developer of Fallout Shelter, Day by Daylight and other games.

Some of the employees of the Chilean office of Behavior Interactive were transferred to the company’s headquarters in Montreal. The studio explained that they had closed the branch in Santiago in order to concentrate on the development of the head office.

The game studio in the capital of Chile was founded in 2002 under the name Wanako Games. In 2007, it was bought by the gaming department of the French corporation Vivendi, and a year later Wanako was sold to Behavior Interactive.
