Clipwire Games revenue increased by 500% after entering into partnership with AppLovin

Back in February, Clipwire Games entered into a strategic partnership with the marketing company AppLovin. Then the indie developer reported that the partnership with AppLovin would increase its growth rate.

Since then, the company’s revenues have increased by 500%. And in the USA, the Bingo Story freeplay title has become the highest-grossing mobile game developed by a Canadian studio.

Clipwire Games still operates independently, but now uses AppLovin’s knowledge and resources. This helps with the development of studio titles, as was the case with Bingo Story. According to the analytical service AppMagic, in January, the monthly revenue of Bingo Story was $ 480 thousand. And in July, the game earned $3.4 million.

Important: since the beginning of the partnership with AppLovin, the game has been downloaded 1.5 million times. In July alone — about 330 thousand times. At the same time, the ratio of revenue to downloads for the last month was about $11.

“Working with AppLovin, we have optimized our user engagement strategy,” commented Ritesh Khanna, CEO and founder of Clipwire Games. “The number of downloads has quadrupled compared to the same period last year, and hundreds of thousands of new daily active users (DAU) have come to us”

Clipwire Games is a Canadian studio that creates casual mobile games. Her Bingo Story title is in the top 10 games in the Board App Store category in 20 countries and in the top 10 games in the Google Play Board category in 85 countries. And the studio itself is certified as “Great Place to Work® Canada”.
