The Games Fund has announced its first investment. He invested in four startups for $2.4 million at once

The investment fund, founded earlier this year by Ilya Eremeev and Maria Kochmola with the participation of Sergey Titov and GEM Capital, announced the first deals. The Games Fund has invested $2.4 million in four gaming companies.

Deal #1 — Jarvi Games Studio

The team is working on a mobile online project in the style of GTA Online. The project is still at an early stage of development. An open world, a third-person combat system, and a large amount of available equipment are planned.

Deal #2 — Vandrouka Games Studio

  • Amount: $1 million
  • Projects: casual games and quizzes (Quiz The Road)

Founded by former Awem Games top managers Vadim and Vladimir Komkov. The studio’s first project — Quiz The Road — is already available for download. In the works is an unannounced puzzle with a deep meta.

Deal #3 — Purple Games Studio

  • Location: Minsk,
  • Stage: seeding
  • Amount: $1 million (TGF participation — $450 thousand)
  • Projects: Greenvale

A studio with a three-year history. At the end of last year, MY.GAMES Venture Capital (MGVC) invested in it. Now the studio is developing an early access three-in-a-row with a construction meta.

Deal #4 — Hypemasters Studio

  • Amount: $1 million (TGF participation — $450 thousand)
  • Project: Hype City, Color Dunk 3D, Town Rivals, World War Commander

Founded more than three years ago, the studio, which previously received investments from both MGVC and the Finnish fund Aii Corporation. Previously, she released three mobile casual projects with excellent production, which, however, did not find much success. He is currently working on a hardcore mobile strategy World War Commander.

The Foundation continues to look for gaming startups. As The Games Fund clarifies in a press release, Russia, Ukraine and the Republic of Belarus are among the priority territories for him now. Recall that the total size of the fund is $50 million.
