Krafton bought the Dreamotion mobile studio. The amount of the transaction is unknown

The owners of PUBG have announced the purchase of a new studio. The South Korean company Krafton has signed a deal with Dreamotion — local developers of mobile games. The parties did not disclose the terms of the acquisition.

It is assumed that the takeover will allow Krafton to expand its mobile development capabilities and strengthen its position in the international market.

Dreamotion will continue to operate as an independent studio.

Dreamotion was founded in 2016. The studio has three projects on its account: Gun Strider, Road to Valor: World War II and Ronin: The Last Samurai. The release of the latter took place at the end of last year, and, according to the developers, was warmly received in Korea and Japan.

It should be noted that Dreamotion will become the fifth company in the composition of Krafton. At the moment, in addition to her, the South Korean corporation also includes Blue Hole Studio, Rising Wings, Strike Distance Studio and PUBG Corp.
