India's Gaming Market Revenue Could reach $1.5 billion by 2025
The analytical company Niko Partners is confident that the video game market in India will increase threefold over the next four years.
The company announced this in a report on the Indian market published this week. According to the forecast, by the end of 2025, gaming sales in the country will amount to $ 1.5 billion.
This is three times more than India will earn in 2021. According to the latest estimates, the regional gaming box office will reach $534 million over the past 12 months. For reference: this is 32% more than a year earlier.
By the way, this summer Niko Partners assured that the Indian video game market is “on the way” to sales of $1 billion. It is not clear whether the new forecast is a correction of the previous estimate.
India is one of the fastest growing gaming markets in Asia both in terms of revenue and number of users. Plus, the country accounts for 56% of all Asian gaming audience (excluding China).
