Jade Raymond leaves Electronic Arts
After three years of working at EA, Jade Raymond leaves the company. The official reason is unclear.
Jade was responsible for three internal Electronic Arts studios — for Motive Studios, for the Vancouver Pop Cap and for the team that created the Star Wars title Amy Henning (Amy Hennig).
The studios will come under the control of Samantha Ryan. She now manages the mobile division of EA, Maxis and BioWare.
Jade became famous as the producer and managing director of Assassin’s Creed and Watch Dog.
Jade RaymondDreadnought authors lay off a third of staff
Just four days after the release of Dreadnought, Six Foot studio announced that it was cutting a third of the team as part of a restructuring. Before the dismissal, the latter numbered 200 people.
The situation did not come as a surprise to the employees. Back in the summer, they were told that the money would only last for a few months of development. So if they want, they can leave the studio.
The release did not change the situation. The game did not become a hit. With a daily expenditure of $ 80 thousand, it brings about $ 20 thousand.

Candy Crush Friends Saga took a week to collect 10 million installs
This is a good result by mobile standards, but far from the best for King projects. Previous games in the series collected downloads better, – reports Sensor Tower. Soda Saga collected 14 million in the same period, and Jelly Saga — 13 million.
But the situation with the cash register is much worse. During the debut week, Friends Saga collected only $780 thousand. For comparison, during the same period Jelly Saga had $1.7 million, and Soda Saga had $3.7 million at all.
