155 games got into the quarterfinals of the competition for the best games on Unreal Engine 4
Since December, the WN Conference, with the active support of Unreal Engine and the Reboot Develop conference, has been holding a large-scale competition for the best game among European developers. Today, on March 5, the games that entered its quarterfinals became known.
Of the 555 games that were submitted, the organizers chose 155 titles. They all belong to completely different genres and are at different stages of production. You can get acquainted with the games that were among the lucky ones in the project gallery on the contest website.
Among them, for example, there is the Norse Viking simulator, the cooperative isometric horror Njorun's Will, the three-dimensional platformer Holmgang: Memories of the Forgotten, made in the style of classic Okami, a strategy with a combat system from the "Space Rangers" Singular Space and dozens more amazing games.
The next stage, the semifinals, will include 70 to 80 games. The jury of the competition will decide who gets into it. It includes about 40 representatives of those companies that publish and produce games.
User voting is also taking place as part of the competition. Any user of the Network can leave a "like" of the game they like. At the end of the competition, the game that won the most votes will be marked as the best project in the opinion of the audience.
The names of the games that will become semi-finalists will be announced in early April. They will already have to "fight" to get to the finals. The end of the competition is scheduled for the first of May.
