Sperasoft has announced the development of a new game together with the creators of EVE Online
An international studio with Russian roots Sperasoft has announced a partnership with CCP Games, a company known for the online game EVE Online. Together they will develop a new game.A new project of Sperasoft and CCP Games will be an unannounced online shooter, the action of which will unfold in the EVE Online universe.
Nothing more is known about the game, but in the near future the companies promise to reveal the first details.
“We are pleased to be a partner of CCP Games and share their mission to create immersive virtual worlds,” said Denis Larkin, the company’s executive director.This is the second major partnership of CCP Games this year. Previously, the company collaborated with the Chinese NetEase, which was responsible for the development and publication of EVE Echoes, a mobile reinvention of EVE Online. At the end of September, the audience of the project exceeded 2 million players.
Sperasoft specializes in collaborative game development. Over the 16 years of its existence, the company has participated in the work on such games as Halo Infinite, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and F1 2020. Now Sperasoft has offices in Russia, the USA and Poland, employing 600 people.CCP Games is an Icelandic developer, which was bought in 2018 by the South Korean publisher Pearl Abyss for $ 425 million. The most famous project of the studio is the multiplayer space game EVE Online, the monthly number of paid subscribers in which exceeds 300 thousand people.
