Google has applied for a patent for a technology that allows you to test games using artificial intelligence. The corporation expects that it will significantly accelerate work on games.

In the description of the application, Google indicated that in recent years the games have become much more complex and larger, but the testing process has hardly changed. Because of this, testers have to spend a lot of time checking titles, but still are not able to notice all the errors. As a result, studios began to delay releases more often and release games with a lot of bugs.

Google wants to make it so that the neural network can control the characters in the tested games and make decisions in real time.

Earlier, the media reported that Electronic Arts filed an application for a similar patent. Microsoft is also working on AI testing technology for games.
