Neogames has published a study of the Asian video game market
What the gaming markets of China, Japan and South Korea look like today, — the Finnish gaming organization Neogames told.
The report takes a little less than 50 pages. It cannot be called large-scale and all-encompassing. However, it closes the main questions on these markets. For example, he tells:
- what are the requirements of the Chinese State Administration for Press and Publications (SAPP) for new games;
- how to work with Japanese partners for western developers;
- what you need to pay attention to when working with Korean players.
The report is compiled on the basis of open sources (they are listed right there in the document and represent an excellent selection of documents for those who want to dive deeper into the topic) with funding from the Ministry of Culture and Education of Finland.
