The global video game market grew by 12% in June
The turnover of the global video game industry increased by 12% last month compared to June 2016.
This is stated in the report of the analytical company SuperData.
The growth of indicators was noted in the segments of mobile games (+17%), MMO games (+15% of MMO free-play and +6% of premium MMO) and console games (+12%).
Experts noted that the console segment’s revenues grew due to purchases of additional content and sales of digital copies of games.
The PC section, on the contrary, decreased by 16% compared to June last year.
